Wedding Inspiration Blue & White

Wedding inspiration moodboard for a May wedding. The aim is to create a sophisticated, elegant, chic environment. Keeping the flowers and table linen white and bringing in the blue in glassware as goblets or candle holders. Hanging chandeliers and hanging paper lanterns in the courtyard will create a romantic atmosphere.

Package one – Inspiration

Helping identify areas of the venue that need dressing, To create a ‘theme’/visual direction, provide a bespoke mood board of ideas from table plans, centrepieces, lighting and much more…

Package two – Design

Discuss and finalise theme and styling details from mood board, sketch of designed venue, personalised sourcing list.

Package three – Styling

Craft Workshops

Having successfully run my Christmas wreath making workshops at Bix Manor I am looking ahead to run more workshops throughout the year. These are to include evening workshops with a glass of wine as well as some children’s craft workshops during school holidays.

Easter workshops to include an Easter branches and Children’s initial art. Times and dates tbc.

Vintage Secret Garden Wedding

Summer 2012

Inspiration moodboard, sketches through to the special day. Inspiration of a mysterious secret garden for the evening dancing in the barn which was revealed when the band started playing! The marquee had more of a fresh garen theme with vintage hat pegs and ribbon.

English Country Garden

In July 2009 this was an English Country Garden at Bix Manor.
We wanted to create an exciting seating area where guests could feel relaxed in a magical setting especially when it got dark.
This wedding was about bringing the gorgeous garden into the marquee so that it felt like you were still in the setting of being outside.

Secret Garden Wedding

A July wedding being held at Bix Manor the inspiration is 'A Secret Garden'.

• Hanging paper lanterns and flowing ribbons in the trees in the courtyard will create a romantic feel.
• A layer of vintage lace will create texture to the tables with vintage frames to add interest to the table numbers. 
• The beams of the barn will be dressed in ivy and flowers to create an overgrown beauty.
• Birdcages, vintage bikes and mix match white tables and chairs for seating will create the quirky chic look we are after.
